For Buyers:

Q ) As a buyer, is my identity revealed to the seller of the instrument or bow that I am making enquiries about ?

A ) Yes:
The name and e-mail address given on the enquiry form is forwarded to the Seller. You may use an alias in the appropriate field if you wish to retain your anonymity.
If your e-mail address reveals your identity then you should open a MSN © Hotmail © or similar e-mail account and use that if you want to conceal your identity from the Seller

Q ) What do I do to report a breach of the Moderator Policy ?

A ) Please use the “Contact us” links on the site and outline the nature of the breach: Please note the listing number, the seller’s alias if known, the price being asked and, if the nature of the breach involves the price being asked, state your opinion as to the correct price level. If the nature of the breach involves the description please indicate your concerns for Guarneri.net to review.

NOTE: It is the prerogative of the seller to reveal his identity to the buyer. Buyers should persuade sellers to interact with them by e-mail by asking reasonable questions about the instrument or bow described.

Q ) As a buyer, are there any restrictions on the e-mail responses that can be made about a particular instrument or bow ?

A ) All e-mail enquiries for instruments or bows on the system are audited for relevance to the instrument or bow described and edited if required prior to forwarding to the seller.

Note: Coded enquiries are permitted if they are announced as such and do not include obscene, scandalous or libellous material in a generally understood form.
Note: Enquiries in languages other than English will be forwarded unedited but users discovered abusing the system to include irrelevant, obscene, scandalous or libellous material to e-mails in any language will be refused assistance from Guarneri.net for a period at the discretion of Guarneri.net.
