Guarneri.net requests specific information from Users prior to using Services and Facilities on the System (for example, e-mail enquiries about Instruments or Bows listed on the System). This information is regarded as highly confidential by Guarneri.net.

Certain details concerning Sellers may be published, at their behest, with Instrument or Bow Descriptions that may assist in the sale of an Instrument or Bow. The Seller must clearly permit these details to be published via features on the forms. Location of any item described on the System must be specified and published with Instrument or Bow Descriptions.

It is a matter for Users to declare their identity to Other Users in order to effect sales or purchases of instruments or bows described on the System.

Users, including but not exclusively Sellers, are under no obligation to respond to enquiries passed on to them by Guarneri.net.

Enquiries and/or responses to enquiries are made at the sole discretion and risk of the User.

Guarneri.net urges caution in using the System and advises Users making enquiries about Instruments and Bows to include adequate evidence of good faith in order to encourage responses from Sellers.

Information regarding Sellers is not passed on to third parties except in the following circumstances:

1) Guarneri.net is permitted to do so via registration forms found on the System.
2) The enquiry is of a legal nature and supported by appropriate documentation.

Information regarding Buyers or Other Users of the System is not passed to third parties except in the following circumstances:

1) In the case of a User making enquiries that necessitate their name or alias and e-mail address being forwarded to a Seller.
2) To assist enquiries of a legal nature supported by appropriate documentation.

Financial information is handled by reputable third-party banking institutions. These institutions receive only the information required to verify and authorise your credit card and to process payments. They are under strict obligation to keep personal information private and secure.
Children and minors

No information should be submitted to the Guarneri.net System by Users under 18 years of age without the consent of their parent or guardian.
